1. The personal information we collect

- Business information – ABN/ACN, company structure, directorships, trading history, industry, ownership and control, KYC/AML information.

- Credit information – details about credit you’ve applied for or obtained, repayment history, defaults or court judgments, credit scores and credit reports, as permitted by the Privacy (Credit Reporting) Code.
- Online data – IP address, device identifiers, pages visited, referrers, session data, cookie and analytics information (e.g., Google Analytics/Tag Manager).
- Sensitive information – only with your consent and where necessary (e.g., membership of a professional association for eligibility, or health information if relevant to hardship). We avoid collecting sensitive information unless required.
2. How we collect information
- We collect personal information in lawful and fair ways, including:
- Directly from you via our website forms, emails, phone, meetings, and document uploads.
- From third-party service providers you choose to use with us (e.g., identity verification, electronic signatures, bank-statement retrieval services). When you use those services, they may collect your credentials directly; we do not receive or store your online banking passwords.
- From your accountant, employer, or other advisers (with your authority).
- From credit reporting bodies (CRBs) and public sources such as company registers and court records (with your consent where required).
- From referral partners and lenders we work with.
You can choose not to provide information, but if you do, we may be unable to assess or arrange finance for you.
3. Why we collect, use and disclose information
- We handle personal information to:
- identify you and verify your identity;
- assess your finance needs and suitability, and to arrange and manage applications with lenders and lessors;
- comply with legal and regulatory obligations (including AML/CTF and responsible lending obligations where applicable);
- communicate with you and manage our relationship;
- conduct analytics, improve our website and services, and perform quality assurance;
- prevent fraud and security threats; and
- conduct direct marketing (you can opt out at any time).
4. Credit information & credit reporting
With your consent (which may be given when you submit an application), we may:
- obtain your consumer and/or commercial credit report from one or more CRBs;
- exchange information with prospective lenders/lessors and our aggregator or panel; and
- use credit information to assess eligibility, verify details, and manage an application or facility.

Your rights with CRBs
You may ask CRBs not to use your information for direct marketing pre‑screening, and to place a temporary ban on releasing your credit report if you believe you are a victim of fraud. You can contact CRBs directly to exercise those rights.
5. Disclosures we commonly make
We may disclose personal information to:
- lenders, lessors and other credit providers;
- our aggregator and lender panel partners ([insert aggregator/lender network, if any]);
- service providers who help us operate (IT/cloud hosting, CRM, analytics, email/SMS, identity verification, bank-statement retrieval, e‑signature, accountants, auditors, lawyers and other professional advisers);
- your advisers (accountants, lawyers, brokers) where authorised;
- regulators and law enforcement where required by law;
- prospective buyers or transferees of our business (under confidentiality); and
- referral partners where you have engaged through them.
We do not sell personal information.
6. Overseas disclosure
Some service providers or data storage may be located outside Australia (for example in the United States, European Union, New Zealand, Singapore or other jurisdictions). Where we disclose information overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure recipients handle it in accordance with the APPs.
